Patrick Yarborough
Partner
I am passionate about standing up for our clients in technology, real estate, oil-and-gas, medicine, finance, and shipping cases.
Since starting Foster Yarborough in 2022, I have won numerous cases. Highlights include winning a unanimous verdict in “60 seconds” in a sexual harassment case, another verdict that more than doubled our client's actual damages, a confidential 7-figure international arbitration award, a $3.4 million arbitration award, a $1.4 million arbitration award, seven appeals, two pretrial dismissals, a “walk away” settlement for 11 defendants with no counterclaims on the first day of trial, a complete defense verdict on behalf of three former directors of a property owners’ association, and "unsubstantiated" findings in multiple internal investigations. I also serve on the Plaintiffs’ Interim Steering Committee of the In re Meta Pixel Tax Filing Cases.
I am a go-to local partner for Texas data-breach cases. Our team has filed several data-breach class actions in Texas state courts this year alone. I also regularly split fees with plaintiffs’ lawyers to collect their Texas state-court judgments, including in a $1 million recovery less than 30 days after entering my appearance in the case.
I cut my teeth at one of the country's premier litigation boutiques, and before that, I clerked for U.S. District Judge Mark E. Fuller for in Alabama and Chief Justice Nathan L. Hecht at the Supreme Court of Texas. My law degree is from the University of Texas, where I graduated in the top 10% of my class, earned a spot on The Texas Law Review, and fought for underdogs in the Supreme Court and Workers’ Rights Clinics.
I am admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Texas. I am also admitted to practice in the state courts of Mississippi, as well as the federal courts of Colorado and Wisconsin.
